The Institut d’électronique et d’informatique Gaspard-Monge (Institute of electronics and computer science Gaspard-Monge, IGM) is an organism which belongs to Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée and deals with research and teaching. Its fields of expertise are computer science, electronics, telecommunications and networks. It has two teaching divisions: electronics and computer science ; both of them have programs for achieving bachelor’s degree and master’s degree. They are supported
by two research laboratories : the Laboratoire Electronique, Systèmes de Communication et Microsystèmes (Electronics laboratory, system of communication and microsystems, ESYCOM) and the Laboratoire d'informatique Gaspard-Monge (Laboratory Institute of electronics and computer science Gaspard-Monge, LIGM).

The IGM is located on the campus of the Cité Descartes, near Paris.

Electronics, Communication systems and Microsystems Laboratory (ESYCOM)

ESYCOM (Laboratoire Electronique, Systèmes de Communication et Microsystèmes) research fields cover the following topics: Electromagnetics, applications and measurements, digital radiocommunications, Microsystems and microtechnologies, photonics and microwaves.

Computer Science Research Laboratory Gaspard-Monge

LIGM (Laboratoire d'informatique Gaspard-Monge), UMR 8049 CNRS, is the Computer Science Research Laboratory Gaspard-Monge specialized in research on algorithms, algebraic combinatorics, natural language processing, networks, image analysis and synthesis, machine learning and signal processing.
